What [sovereignty] actually means to me, it means that I know my truth, not the truth.”

-Erin Telford, The Everything Belongs Podcast

Today on the Everything Belongs Podcast, Madison is in conversation with Erin Telford. Erin is a Breathwork facilitator, teacher trainer, intuitive guide and space holder. She began her healing career over a decade ago as an acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and Reiki Master. Her work guides people to look within, open their hearts and heal their relationship with themselves. Her group sessions, training and retreats empower her clients to connect to their innate wisdom so that they can find the healing and the answers that exist inside within their bodies and spirits. Erin believes that we all hold core wounds and limiting beliefs that subconsciously run our lives. When we somatically release them from the emotional body and the nervous system, there is freedom on the other side. Our emotions are messengers with information that let us know where to direct our healing and compassion. By de-stigmatizing emotions and the human experience, we can take shame off the table and start to really deal with what's under the depression, anxiety, and patterns that keep us contracted. In this episode, Madison and Erin speak on how to own your sovereign truth while being able to hold the multiplicity of possible truths. They also discuss power dynamics in coaching, healing and friendships, as well as reconciling shame in situations where harm is present and much more.
